…network management

Magna Carta Barons Association

In 2012 Frontline initiated the creation of a network of 22 villages and towns to celebrate the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta and coordinated and managed the network until 2016. Its members represented the chief manors of the twenty-five leading rebel barons who forced king John to recognise that no one is above the law – including kings.

The aim of the Association was not only to help local communities celebrate the anniversary, but also to celebrate 800 years of their own history, created by generations of residents as they lived and died working the land and caring for their church. Without them, there can be no history, nor the wealth the barons enjoyed.

Four Greens

From 2006 until 2008, Frontline managed the development of Four Greens, a strategic cross-sector network of agencies and organisations that supported the arts and creative industries in Barnet, Enfield, Haringey and Waltham Forest. During this period, Four Greens was funded by the London Development Agency under its Creative London programme.

As part of its responsibilities, Frontline organised two London conferences: Suburban Futures: Town Centres, the Arts and Regeneration, and Culture and the 2012 Games: Engaging marginalised young people through arts and sport.
