Frontline has published a number of books, principally associated with projects and research it has initiated.
The ‘Song of the United Front’ was composed in 1934 by the Austrian Hanns Eisler (1898-1962) with lyrics written by Berthold Brecht (1898-1956). It was translated into English by Eric Bentley and sung by the International Brigades during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). This 1997 version is sung by Jamie O’Reilly and Michael Smith.
