António Sallo
António Sallo (Sally) was born in Luanda. After following visual arts courses in Luanda, he graduated in painting and drawing from the Karkov Fine Art School, USSR. He has worked as a draughtsman in the Ministry of Construction/Physical Planning, the National Book and Record Institute, the National Museum of Anthropology and the Museum of Natural History. He also taught art at the Barracão art school for war-orphaned children. He is a founder member of UNAP and has been a member of its Dynamising Commission and Second Secretary of its Fiscal Council.
