Lutanda Mwamba

Lutanda Mwamba was born in 1966. He studied graphic art at the Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts, Lusaka. A printmaker, Mwamba’s subjects are usually taken from everyday Zambian scenes. Mwamba has participated in group exhibitions in Zambia and Britain. He was awarded the Commonwealth Foundation Fellowship in Arts and Crafts for the Africa Region, 1990. Mwamba also plays percussion for the group ‘African Tribe’.
