Idasse

ldasse was born at Quilasse, Matola, in 1955. He often won prizes of drawing materials in school competitions and at secondary school pursued drawing, painting, clay modelling, and woodcuts. He later frequented Inacio Matsinhe’s studio and made progress with increased confidence. He showed in a collective exhibition at the Maputo International Trade Fair in 1977 and had his first exhibition of drawings in 1986. He has exhibited his work in Inhambane in 1986, Maputo in 1987 and Paris in 1988.
