Music from the Frontline
Since 1982, WOMAD (World of Music Arts and Dance) had been presenting truly international festivals which brought together artists from all over the world. In 1990, they teamed up with Frontline States to choose the very best musicians from Southern Africa. After performing in Glasgow, Manchester and Dublin, they took part in WOMAD’s festivals at Morecambe Bay and Reading, as well as appearing at many other venues across Britain and Europe.
